Well, a new beginning .. I'ts my first blog ever .. a bit nervous ..I was just reading about a famous blogger DAREEN ROWSE and then it struck me Why not take my first post ?
So , a quick Intro
I am a Designer by heart and I have completed Fine Arts in Printmaking . My printmaking work covers Relief Prints , LITHO , ETCHING , COLLO ; exploring traditional and new printmaking media and love to merge different techniques by combining new media
My subject matter is generally taken form day to day life ; infusions of light fluctuates within the environment and creates shadows and reflection that enhance my work .
This
artwork is done in technique of LITHOGRAPHY. As, The TITLE suggest barrier, destruction . Similarly the thought which hold
you back is either to move forward or backward. Stairs and Pillars depict the
struggle in life. Going Upstairs often represent you are making progress but if
you are just standing still on the stairs in your dream that means you are
struggling to proceed. But the Pillars depict the strength. I always express
the thoughts, feelings and emotions , The struggle of choosing the path or ways
are some of the themes that appear throughout in my work.
